The image grid
The grid is the heart of Atlas: every file in the open folder, shown as one wall of thumbnails you scroll end to end. It stays fast in folders that bring Explorer to a crawl, tens of thousands of files deep.
Built for big folders
A folder with thirty thousand images scrolls as smoothly as one with thirty. Thumbnails keep up with your scrolling instead of trickling in behind it, and flinging the scrollbar to the bottom does not stutter.
Switch folders without the flash
Click between folders and the grid changes cleanly, with no white flash and no half-drawn thumbnails in between. You just land in the next folder.
What the thumbnails tell you
Videos, audio, and GIFs are marked in the corner, and any rating you have given shows as stars on the thumbnail. Hover a video to scrub it in place without opening it.
See everything at once
The All view at the top of the sidebar pulls every image across your whole library into one grid, newest first. It stays quick even when that is hundreds of folders.
