Organizing
Libraries
A library is a separate workspace with its own set of folders. Keep a work library and a personal one and switch between them, so you only ever see what belongs to the task at hand. Atlas starts you with one, called Atlas Library.
Switch and create
Click the library pill near the top of the sidebar to see your libraries with their folder and image counts. Click one to switch. The same menu creates, renames, and deletes libraries.
What changes when you switch
Each library has its own folders, its own All view, and its own search. Switch and the whole sidebar changes with you. Your files on disk never do.
Deleting a library removes its folders from Atlas only. Your files stay exactly where they are.
Tidy up
The library menu also has Find Similar / Duplicates for clearing out near-identical shots, and a one-click rescan of every folder at once.
