Tags

A tag is a label you stick on an image. Since a tag does not care which folder an image is in, it is how you pull together pictures that live in completely different places.

Tag an image

Select an image and type into the Tags box in the info panel to add an existing tag or make a new one. You can also right-click an image and use its Tags menu, where a check shows what is already on it.

Browse by tag

Your tags sit in the Tagged section of the sidebar with a count next to each. Click one to filter your whole library down to images that carry it, and click again to clear. It is the quickest way to see all of one kind of thing at once.

Keep them tidy

Right-click a tag to rename it, give it an icon, reorder it, or remove it. Removing a tag never touches the images it was on.
