Release
0.8.15
Clipping now covers audio, video thumbnails are sharper, and playback and panels answer to finer controls.
0.8.15July 26, 2026Beta
Highlights
- Clip mode works on audio as well as video, and each clip is saved in its source format instead of being forced into one container.
- Video poster frames are baked at full resolution, so video thumbnails and previews look sharp instead of soft.
Improved
- The sidebar and the info panel each keep their own zoom level, with a custom zoom option in Settings.
- Arrow keys seek video with hold-to-accelerate, and up and down adjust volume in the player.
- Duplicating several files at once, and dropping files onto folders in the grid, are clearer about names and destinations.
- A downloaded update can be installed straight from the sidebar, and update checks stop polling once one is available.
Fixed
- The audio player always draws the real waveform instead of a flat placeholder.
- The browser Clipper survives sleep and resume: its drag detector re-registers itself and its drop area no longer goes invisible until restart.
- Failed web imports can be dismissed with Delete or from the info panel instead of lingering in the grid.
