Release
0.8.25
Editable image history, dependable metadata inheritance, and safer project scanning.
0.8.25August 13, 2026Beta
Highlights
- Image cleanup and editor saves now remain attached to the original item as selectable versions, including a quick return to the original.
- Embedded PNG metadata can be inherited from another image without replacing the target image's pixels.
- Very large or whole-drive project imports are reviewed before indexing begins, and active scans can be cancelled safely.
Improved
- The inspector changes as one complete view, so Metadata, Edited, prompts, fields, and version rows no longer assemble visibly after selection.
- Folder and image selection, marquee selection, viewer paging, and folder transitions keep their visual state stable while the next view becomes ready.
- Light-theme sidebar contrast and the Solaris theme have been refined for clearer navigation and text.
Fixed
- Saving an Atlas-created version from Photoshop refreshes its existing grid tile instead of producing an error card or requiring a rescan.
- Metadata inheritance can be cancelled, reports failures cleanly, and keeps the target selected with its inherited metadata visible afterward.
- Scan controls use the standard project pill, with clear progress and a visible red stop action.
