• Atlas now opens through a shared animated loading transition that also carries update installation progress.

• Update checks are easier to find from both the system tray and the version control in the sidebar, with visible checking feedback.

Fixed

• Folder and library totals refresh when a scan completes, and audio files no longer inherit unrelated video artwork in the grid.
• Background timer throttling no longer triggers false crash recovery, and Quit now works reliably from the recovery notice.
