Release
0.8.9
A broad polish release for restore behavior, licensing, plugins, grid information, and 3D model reliability.
0.8.9July 19, 2026Beta
Highlights
- Restoring Atlas after minimizing now uses the last visible frame while the live interface returns, avoiding white flashes and dark grids without preventing idle memory from being released.
- A new in-app bug report dialog collects the useful details and lets you choose whether to include an email address for follow-up.
- Grid tiles can show a chosen file-information caption, including localized created and modified dates in three date formats.
Improved
- License checkout supports adjustable seat counts, while activation, replacement, deactivation, revoked-key recovery, and full-seat recovery now use clearer and more consistent actions.
- Plugin Center pages include complete per-version histories, synchronized package versions, and shorter descriptions focused on what each plugin does.
- The 3D viewer owns its own zoom, produces crisper model stills, and automatically rebuilds stale previews; MMD models and their sidecar files also collapse into one model tile.
- The item-information control is now an inline field selector with a separate visibility toggle, and preferred sorting respects the grid's ascending or descending direction.
Fixed
- Fixed video preview queue progress and cancellation, model-preview rebuilds that were rejected by the background worker, and stale model texture rows that could expose sidecar files.
- Recovery notices no longer stay above every other application, and can yield focus or be minimized while you continue working.
- Packaged Atlas now verifies its Electron runtime settings and application archive integrity, rejecting modified archives before the interface opens.
